 MateMind is an adaptive mathematics tutoring platform currently under development. It uses artificial intelligence to offer a personalized learning experience by adjusting exercises and content to each student’s pace and needs. The tool performs diagnostic assessments, creates individualized learning paths, and continuously adapts the content based on student progress. The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, aiming to modernize math education in Brazil, promote educational equity, and reduce disparities in access to quality teaching resources.

By focusing on skills such as problem-solving and logical reasoning, it prepares students for future challenges and helps prevent school dropout.

 Students receive personalized and adaptive learning experiences. MateMind adjusts to each student’s pace, builds confidence in math, and offers immediate feedback for corrections. This approach fills knowledge gaps, speeds up progress, and turns learning into a motivating journey.

 MateMind supports teachers by providing real-time reports on individual and group performance. These insights help teachers quickly identify specific needs and intervene more effectively, allowing them more time to focus on creative teaching strategies and individual support, improving overall teaching quality.

 MateMind was selected in Public Call No. 50/2024 by FAPESC (Foundation for Research and Innovation Support of Santa Catarina State, Brazil), under the Impulsiona SC program, which fosters technological innovation in education in Santa Catarina.

 I am an economist by training, an educator by vocation, and an innovator by nature. I lead MateMind’s development because I believe technology can strengthen teachers’ roles and make math education more inclusive and effective. I believe in the transformative power of personalized education, where every student finds meaning in their learning journey.
